What you need to do before you move in
There are several things you’ll need to do before you move in. Fill out our checklist to make sure you are ready to move in.
Pay your deposit. The deposit is the same as first month’s rent and must be paid in full.
Sign the lease. We will provide you with a lease document that must be signed prior to your move-in date

Set up utilities in your name.
- Water Department – You must physically go down to the water department to sign in and pay a deposit of $150.00 (price does not change).
- Dominion East Ohio Gas Company – Start service at www.dom.com
- American Electric Power – Sign up for service at www.aepohio.com
Get renters insurance.

Secure a moving truck or moving company.
Change your address through the United States Postal Service.
Quick tip – Make sure you securely prop open your front door when moving in or out so it does not get damaged during the move or anytime throughout your stay with us.
